Chinese Culture Promotion and Development Association

The Chinese Culture Promotion & Development Association CCPDA was founded by American Chinese Mr. Allen Zhao with the mission of uniting all overseas Chinese and international friends together to promote and develop the essence of Chinese culture.

The CCPDA’s goal is to promote the essence of Chinese culture to the Western world through educational programs and events such as art, language, health, travel and business development.

Through this mission, the CCPDA believes it can change lives and benefit society as a whole by the exchanging of cultural ideas and customs.

Mr.Allen Zhao always followed the Chinese ancestors’ words while growing up: “Traveling thousands of miles is better than reading thousands of books.” He traveled around China absorbing its and  profound Chinese culture. He realized that the Chinese culture was an inexhaustible treasure. Mr.Zhao lived 3 years in Britain, 5 in Canada and 8 years in America. During that time, he felt like a citizen of a global village. From Britain’s gentle courtesy to a striving American spirit and a Canadian multi-cultural co-existence, he always felt the uniqueness among different countries and ethnicities. “It is just like Chinese culture, all being the wealth of the human civilization.”

In the moment of making a vow to become a US citizen, Zhao had a beautiful dream in mind, “I want to devote my life to a global mission ---to build a clearinghouse for promoting Chinese and world culture with those who love and care about life in America ---the freest, liveliest and the most creative country in the world.”
